3rd Annual Hamlin Speedway VetStock Firecracker 100

Let’s get ready to rumble on Saturday, July 7th when the Hamlin Speedway hosts its third VetStock Firecracker 100 for the benefit of our area’s veterans.

The third annual event is an exciting and grueling 100-lap race that again will be sponsored by Hollywood Towing & Auto, The Honesdale National Bank and presented by S & S Speedways-Indoor Go-Karts and SS Promotions, LLC.

Hamlin Speedway -Vetstock Fundraiser for 2018 will be a lottery calendar!  If we sell it out, VetStock should make about $7800! To purchase your lottery calendar email vetstockamerica@gmail.com. You will also be able to purchase a calendar on July 7th at the VetStock Firecracker 100! Our local vets thank you in advance!

Promotions Director Allesson Rode reiterated the Speedway’s unwavering commitment to support VetStock in its effort to ensure that the funds it raises benefit our local men, women and families who served our Country,” Veterans and current service members will have free admission with military ID.

General admission is $10, seniors are $5, and children under 6 are free. Pit Passes are $25. Hot laps start at 6:00 p.m. with racing starting around 7:00 p.m. Gates open at 3:00 p.m.

VetStock, a local veterans’ support organization, is synonymous with an unparalleled passion and tireless efforts to improve the lives of the area’s former and present Armed Services men, women and families. Founded in 2012 by Tom Ryan, Rich Diaz and Kelly Gaughan, its sole mission is to financially assist those Veteran organizations who have not developed strong fundraising capabilities locally in both Pike and Monroe counties. None of the funds raised by VetStock is donated directly to individuals, but rather, monies are provided to non-profit veterans organizations who meet VetStock’s rigorous vetting process.
